Rest of the story
In addition to advertising, I've worked in Hollywood on and off over the years—first as an SFX pyro, blowing up stuff for commercials and action flicks, and then later as a writer, developing scripts and pitch material for directors and producers.
I've worked with government, too, reviewing bills and resolutions for the CA Office of Legislative Counsel, and raising revenue and increasing membership as a board member and Program Chair for the CA State Information Officers Council.
I've published over 375,000 words of fiction, including novels for Random House. My short stories have appeared alongside those of Stephen King, Lee Child, Karin Slaughter, and Irvine Welsh. Somewhere along the way, I earned an MFA in Fiction from Columbia in Chicago.
My brand and strategic sensibilities, along with my narrative skills, are applicable to everything from advertising campaigns to political campaigns, and have helped win clients, meet goals, and open minds.
